Document Manager
Cloud Amber has developed our Document Manager as an integral part of the Argonaut system. This product enables engineers to dispense with all the paper files concerning traffic signal information such as the CAD Drawings, Specifications etc etc.
Viewing document root:
All a user has to do is click on a Traffic Signal or bus stop and select View Documents to bring up all electronic documents associated with a piece of street furniture. A page then provides the user with an interface similar to Windows Explorer allowing them to browse and view directories and documents. This will include icons used for the folders, pictures and technical documents relating to on-street furniture, etc.
Viewing links from objects:
Effectively, an engineer could access CAD drawings etc whilst on street just by clicking on a Traffic Signal on the Argonaut front end displayed on their PDA.
Viewing current documents:
The documents are stored on the server with global directory for all users and can easily be integrated into corporate networks.
