Argonaut
The Cloud Amber UTMC compliant common database provides an open standard data store to collect and disseminate traffic and transport information from existing or new UTMC sub systems. It also provides Traffic Managers with the ability to develop better, integrated traffic and transport control strategies in line with current national and local transport policies.

Argonaut - Cloud Amber is using sophisticated modern web technologies to deliver UTMC systems for the 21st century. Engineers can to connect in to the system from any internet terminal, subject to security arrangements, wether at work, working from home or during emergency cover out of hours. Effectively, if given sufficient privileges, an Engineer could look at the network from his sofa on his Blackberry on Christmas Day (what joy!) without needing to come in to the control room. Strategy Manager - Cloud Amber's Strategy Manager allows Traffic Managers to set up strategies to manage the limited road network using all the available information in Argonaut (traffic flow from SCOOT, Trafficmaster, ANPR and traffic counters; roadspeeds from TIH, traffic signals, ANPR, AVL Journey Times, events and weather). With unique features as 'engineer in the loop', SMS email alerts and full integration to the Journey Times Engine, Cloud Amber believes it has the best Strategy Manager on the market today. Journey Times Engine - Our unique Journey Times Engine that will calculate the road speeds for ALL roads within the network by breaking them down on a road by road basis. This then allows the traffic manager to draw infinitely flexible transport routes, combining all data from ANPR, AVL, HA and others and drill down to what's important, the journey time along routes and corridors. Document Manager - Cloud Amber offers a file manager application that allows users to view, download and up load files in to a central repository. Looking and feeling like Microsoft Windows Explorer, the user is able to dynamically link files to objects within the database. Document Manager information
Dynamic Maps - Cloud Amber aims to provide the most understandable and most relevant traffic and transport map available on the market. Reports - The Cloud Amber reporting package is very flexible and allows users to configure and run system based reports, as well has set up KPI's and other National Indicator reports and have them automatically delivered to anyone's inbox on a set schedule. Incident Manager - The Police, radio stations and other organisations can all be used to contribute towards managing the traffic. Neighbouring Authority Links - Cloud Amber can link to all UTMC Systems belonging to neighbouring Authorities. Ability to both send and receive information and to trigger strategies and operator alerts using this data. Neighbouring Authority Links information
VMS Management - Cloud Amber has full support for variable message signs including current and predicted car park spaces, legends, multiple message priorities and fully integrates with the Strategy Manager, Journey Times Engine and Real Time Passenger Information Systems. VMS Management information
