Surrey is known for its state of the art control centre that manages the traffic flows in and around the county. Surrey have implemented the innovative Cloud Amber Voyager Travel Information and Alerts portal to provide the traveling public with all of their gathered travel information.
A first for the UTMC industry is the ability to have the public at large report failures with traffic signals without the need to pick up the phone. Linking directly in to the control centre, faults on all signals can be reported through an easy to use web portal without the need to know grid or traffic signal references or numbers.
